hello all, first post
I'm seriously thinking of installing either HSFX 4 or UP.2.1 into my new clean 4.09m install with a backed-up copy.
I bet you get asked this thousands of times, but as an offliner and mission builder which do you think is best for me?
My fav mod plane plane is the Typhoon 1B (because of its Normandy history), which I recently run on my old modded install. SAS (or somebody) patched it and at last it was working great in FMB. But I don't see it in your list?
Is there a reason for that I wonder, or was the patched version simply too late to make it into HSFX 4?
Perhaps I can simply install the SAS one into an HSFX 4 install without any probs - has anyone tried it?
Thanks

Hi, Basically UP is HSFX, it's a copy of HSFX with a couple of new aircraft added and a couple of other features for the On-Line dogfight players. So there isn't a lot to choose between the two if your an off-line player. HSFX will load faster as all the aircraft are included in SFX files, but the newer aircraft aren't in the current 4.11 version. The Typhoon and many more are included in the new version of HSFX, but that won't be released for a little while longer. Were waiting for the release of the Il-2 4.10 patch so that everything is included. _________________
